On February 27–28, 2020 researchers from KTU Biomedical Engineering Institute visited Lund University (Sweden). Director Vaidotas Marozas, researcher Andrius Sološenko and junior researchers PhD students Monika Butkuvienė and Birutė Paliakaitė met the leader of Biomedical Signal Processing group professor Leif Sörnmo, associate professor Frida Sandberg and postdoctoral researcher Alba Martín in Lund. KTU researcher Andrius Petrėnas also joined the discussions remotely from Kaunas. The leader of Biomedical Signals Interpretation and Computational Simulation group professor Pablo Laguna and PhD student Spyridon Kontaxis also came to Lund from University of Zaragoza (Spain) to join the meeting.
An intensive two-day visit agenda was effectively used to strengthen international research collaboration. During the meeting, researchers shared their teaching experience, discussed on-going scientific projects and possible future collaborations, planned joint scientific publications.
