Duration of the project: January 2017 – September 2018. The project is carried out jointly with UAB “Gruppo Fos Lithuania” (main project partner) and Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. The aim of the project is to create biomedical electronic equipment for post-stroke monitoring. The equipment under development is based on the acquisition, processing and analysis of multichannel physiological signals. The equipment incorporates the acquisition of temporal and spatial (tomographic) signals of the head bioimpedance and cardiovascular (electrocardiogram (ECG); photoplethysmogram (PPG)) signals. Multimodal signal processing algorithms will allow follow the human post-stroke state, assess the course of the disease and predict the consequences.
Project funding:
This research project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund according to the 2014–2020 Operational Programme for the European Union Funds’ Investments under measure No. 01.2.1-LVPA-K-823 “Smartlnvest LT+”.
Project results:
Prototypes of the equipment modules, test models-phantoms, algorithms for processing and analysis of signals (bioimpedance, ECG, PPG); prototype software.
