On 5 May, the new Council of the Institute of Biomedical Engineering was approved by order of the University Rector.
The members of the Institute Council are:
- Professor Vaidotas Marozas, Director of the Institute;
- Dr. Monika Butkuvienė, Researcher at the Institute;
- Dr. Andrius Rapalis, Senior Researcher at the Institute;
- Vytautas Dailidėnas, Doctoral Student at the Institute;
- Dr. Justinas Bacevičius, Head of the Centre for Health Technologies and Remote Monitoring at the Institute of Translational Health Research, Faculty of Medicine, Vilnius University.
The new Council will begin its work by holding its first meeting on 11 May.
The Council of the Institute of Biomedical Engineering is elected for a five-year term in accordance with the University’s regulations on the formation of councils of faculties and research institutes.
