“ThrombUS+” Consortium Meeting in Kaunas

Important | 2024-05-16
The second meeting of the international project “ThrombUS+” was held on 14th-15th May both in Kaunas, Lithuania, and online. The meeting was hosted by Neringa Balčiūnienė from LSMU, Vaidotas Marozas from KTU Biomedical Engineering Institute and Dmitry Novikov from UAB “Telemed”.

Representatives from each of the 18 consortium partners discussed the progress made and the next steps in designing a novel wearable diagnostic device for detecting deep vein thrombosis (DVT). The objectives of the meeting were to:

  • recap the work done so far;
  • present and discuss the ongoing tasks;
  • discuss the upcoming deliverables.

Significant progress was made over the two days, with many participants noting that the meeting was both productive and energizing.

We are grateful to all the consortium partners for their involvement and input – we look forward to the next meeting.
