The researchers of KTU Biomedical Engineering Institute (BMII) are happy with the opportunity to cooperate with the traveler, athlete, and KTU alumni Aurimas Valujavičius, who set off on a historic journey in a rowing boat across the Atlantic Ocean. During the trip, Aurimas will cover about 8500 km on his own, in a single-seater boat, in four months, or maybe even faster, and will set a Lithuanian and improve the world record. BMII researchers equipped Aurimas with measuring devices that will record the parameters of the athlete’s body and boat movements during the entire swim.
